You’d forgive me if I was skeptical. If I were squinting up the road, looking for that next snowstorm to crush my hopes and dreams. Perhaps I’ll let myself believe that this is the real thing and warmer times are just ahead.
These last few weeks have been a whirlwind of taxes done, new websites produced, and believe it or not but I actually went to the mall and bought some damn clothes. After not shopping much for the better part of two years, I really was running out of appropriate attire for times when a business suit is just overkill. I think my favorite thing that I bought was this summer jacket. Its not quite warm enough to wear it yet, but I’m sure looking forward to it.
As for knitting, is still the Mystery Shawl for all my knitting time. Click here for a look at the Mystery Shawl knitted through the first two clues. I have so enjoyed working with this Lucent yarn in all its merino/cashmere lusciousness. Its joy for my fingers when I knit it up. Right now I’m working on Clue # 3 wherein a second color comes waltzing in to jazz up the already fabulous Boysenberry.
